Catnip Publishing is a small independent children's publisher based in London. We are a tiny team, but we select and curate each book we publish with incredible care. Some of our best-selling titles are Belie Doherty's Children of Winter and Dodie Smith's The Midnight Kittens. In Autumn 2018, we will publish two translated books by Bianca Pitzorno's, who is considered a classic author of Italian children's literature. And yes, our office has a bright blue door - you won't miss it!
Our Story
Catnip's story starts with a dream: to keep brilliant classics in print even decades after their first publication, and to give life to new stories. And this is still what we do. We publish new authors such as Anne Booth, Pippa Goodhart and Sarah Baker, but we also meticulously select timeless stories and repackage them with beautiful covers to make them available for contemporary readers.
